The Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation is excited to offer its free after-school art program starting on Jan. 23. The River Kids Program is open to children in 1st through 6th grade. Classes will meet Thursdays from 3:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for 13 total weeks.
Children will explore their creativity through hands-on activities, including drawing, painting, crafts, and ceramics. Experienced and passionate educators will be there to guide the children every step of the way.
The program is free of charge. However, limited space is available. You must make a reservation to secure a spot. Parents must commit to the entire semester for consistency and participation. Enrollment is processed on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, call (601) 631-2997 or email [email protected].
The River Kids Program receives support from the Mississippi Arts Commission, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the City of Vicksburg.
This is a wonderful opportunity for children to immerse themselves and explore their creativity in a fun, nurturing environment. Donโt wait and miss out on this chance for your child to be a part of the River Kids Program!
